Unfortunately didn't take as many photos as I wanted to today, especially since I had so much fun! Almost all of the few photos which were taken at RICE turned out to be blurred, since I'm terrible at taking photos in bad lighting.. how embarrassing. Huge apologies for the graininess of the photos from yesterday. :(It's been a wonderful yet terrible week in so many ways. Incredibly busy, I had my final exam at Peak, PE assessment on Thursday and two artworks (yes, my teacher cut it down to 2 cos no one had finished the 3rd/started the 4th) due on Friday.. Relying on a total of 5 cans of V to keep me up at night, I managed to (pretty much) finish my art sketch a little more than 2 nights, and I don't even hate it, lol.

I also may have found a dress for informal, coming up in a little over a month from now! Completely different to what I had planned and imagined I'd wear, and still unsure whether or not I should actually buy it, since I never wear stuff like that.. Well, I guess there's a first for everything, hehe and hopefully I don't feel awkward in it or anything! I've shown almost everyone I talk to, which sucks cos then it's not a surprise anymore. :( I've even shown people I don't even talk to that much, surprise gone. Wah. :(

RICE Rally 2011 was today and I had so much fun! Could not make it in time for Pancakes on the Rocks with some Access kids as a pre-RICE outing, but revisited Ichiban Boshi with Nick before RICE and finally (after months of putting it off) bought Spaces magazine by Frankie! Can't wait to get through it! :) Seriously, RICE is probably one of the events where I know I'll be happy after, and I'll come home and end up staying up super late cos I wouldn't want my day to end. Although the actual event felt surprisingly shorter than previous years and I'm sad that there was no RICE Fever this year, the train ride home and just getting a lot closer to the youths at Access made my day. :D Had fun pegging people with Nicky and Alec, playing word games on Nikkida's iPhone and trying to figure out that whole 'This is a very simple game' crap for the majority of the train ride home (we all couldn't figure it out, so Jenny whispered it to Andy, who explained it to Dom in Vietnamese, who then typed up a clue on his phone and accidentally dropped his phone. That I happened to catch. And read the message by accident), while snacking on Jenny's sweaty snake lollies.. LOL

In the city

Yesterday was so fun! RICE Rally started at 5:30pm but me and Nick met up earlier so we could go eat somewhere and then meet up with everyone else. It was such a good day, keke, even though I got home a bit late .. But I don't think my parents minded too much. :p

So anyway, we met up at around 3pm or something, and then we walked to Ramen Kam. Or Ramen Kan. But I think the receipt said 'kam' but okay. :p I'd never been there before or nething but Nick made it sound really really good. I saw Ken there, with his family or something? Anyway, I didn't know what to order so I got a mini udon and mini don with teriyaki chicken and they gave a salad. We ordered agedashi tofu and omgsh, it was so nice. :D Nick got a karaage don and it was so good. :9 After that, we both got green tea ice cream and it was so cute and creamy. LOL. When we were walking there, we saw all these people who were like 'potentials'/potentially going to RICE LOL, but when we were eating, there were two guys who sat next to us and they were talking about RICE and stuff. I love RICE. No jokes. :)

We were planning on going Caps after we ate, but both of us didn't feel like it nemore and we went to Market City instead. I haven't been to the city in so long! No idea where I've been going, but probably out at people's surprise parties or something, or just not going out, Idk, but it feels like a while since I was out in the city. :p Anyway so we were walking around and we went into Morning Glory (which full looks different now btw) and they were playing Bad Girl by B2ST! :D Like I walked in and heard it and was so excited that they were playing it, LOL. Nick said he felt like buying a hat cuz he was sick of his one right now, so we went into Gluestore and they had this really pretty Adidas hat there, but it was all white. :o Would've looked so much better if it was in black but they didn't have it. Nick was gonna get this Le Co Sportif hat which was just black and had the logo in gold on the front, but he fricken loves Stussy and didn't even see the Stussy one LOL, but I pointed it out and he really liked it, so we bought it. I bought it. :p Teehee, LOL. Anyway so I really like it now too and we both kept switching during the rest of the day. We went to Thai Kee and got green tea, too.

Finaallyyy, we met up with everyone else outside Sydney Entertainment Centre. It was me, Nick, Lawrence, Danica, Jenny, Nikkida, Simon and Troy. And William was there and Aaron Sing was there. (Oh whoa Idk how to spell Sing but it's like that, right?) Yeah okay so we got our tickets and we had to hide all our food and drinks, just in case they didn't let us take them in LOL, so we were full desperate and hiding it in our clothes and stuff. When we got in, cuz I've never been in there or don't think I've been in there, and it was soo big and keke, so many people, full checked out all the girls LOL. Cuz they have good clothes. :9 LOL. Yeah and so we went in and we got our seats and stuff.

First 'act' or whatever, was New Empire! :D We saw them at Fever last year and me, Danica and Jenny got a hug from one of the guitarists. So when they started playing, everyone went down to the front and had like a little mosh pit and omg Nick got a high five from one of the guitarists. Like a clean high five, not like a 'Kk I'm gonna high five all these people so I'll just like hit at their hands', LOL. And Lawrence touched the guy's shoe. And when one of the guitarists were high fiving people but more like just high fiving a whole heap of people at the same time and more like hitting at their hands instead, they hit my hand. Twice. Fuck yeah. AHHAHA. :3 Nah but they're good, keke. Um but RICE Rally is like performances, skits, talks and games, it was really fun.

At one point, they gave everyone a glow stick and we all played this game. So the whole place/hall/thingo was divided into 8 groups, with one person representing each group on the stage. The speaker would be like, King _____ (Bro I have no idea how you're meant to spell it and I temporarily forgot his name) lost his hat, some say this, some say that, I say team _, and that team has to all stand up and wave their glowsticks and be like, No sir, not I sir, and the speaker's like, Then who sir? and that group has to say Team _ sir, (cuz their representative on stage holds up a number) and yeah, whichever team messes up first then yeah. :p It was pretty fun, and they turned the lights off for it so everyone's glowsticks were glowing. And heaps of people were chucking their glowsticks down and yeah when we finished playing I chucked mine down and apparently I hit this guy. LOL. Sorry. :p

And the speaker this year had to do a catwalk versus Sang Choi Bao and they had to go through like a tiebreaker and the speaker performed the song he played when he proposed to his wife and aw it was so cute. :o The speakers at RICE are so interesting and funny LOL. :D And he told a story how he was on holiday with his wife. His wife woke up one morning and said that she wasn't feeling too well, feeling fever-ish and stuff. So when his wife said that, he didn't want to spend the rest of his holiday giving her all this sympathy and stuff, so he pretended he wasn't feeling too well either, LOL. When they got home to the airport, his wife was like, Okay this is just ridiculous, and she went to the chemist and got a pregnancy test. She tested herself and turned out she was pregnant, LOL. So she figured out he was making shit up and yeah, LOL. Idk, but the stories at RICE are funny but like they're all relevant in the end. :p So good.

After the talk, me, Lawrence, Simon and Nick went to talk to people about stuff. And they had this manga about like Idk Jesus and stuff. I haven't finished reading it but yeah. And I got another USB bracelet! And Nick gave me his, or Idk, someone gave me their's but I have 2 now. :p Will check them out later at night. And this guy came to talk to us about stuff and like yeah js, he was really cute. :o But after we left RICE, we wanted to get a RICE hoodie .. And Nikkida got one! D: I want one, man. TT Um, after that, we decided to stay in the city while Lawrence, Nikkida and Simon went home. We should've went. :( Cuz me and Nick stayed when we shouldn't have and didn't really stay for long. Anyway, so we walked to the station and bought 2 slices of pizza, omg so good, then we went onto the platform to catch a train to Bankstown, get picked up and then drive Nick's mum home and then drive me home. Anyway, our train wasn't for a while so when we finished our pizza, we went to get chips. And they were crinkle cut, so cute! :p But when we were eating chips and waiting for our train, on the other platform, I don't even know what happened but it was like a fight or something! :o And there was like shouting and these lebs were chucking glass bottles at the train. I don't think anyone got hurt but it looked like there was fight .. Idk, but it was scary. :s And then everyone on that train had to get off and our train came and yeah, Idk what happened.

So we got to Bankstown at like 11:20pm and we found Nick's car (his mum drove to pick us up) and then we dropped her off at home and then Nick drove me back to my place. I got home at like 11:50pm which is actually the latest I've ever stayed out with like not family or not family friends, so yeah, that was pretty cool. :D It was such a good day, though! Jap restaurant, RICE, staying out late, omg I don't know, it was so fun though. ^^ Only now, I'm really, really poor. My mum hasn't given me this week's allowance. So I don't know what's going on, and that's really, really annoying ..

Oh what, fucking Flickr says that I've reached my 100MB allowance this month. I have no idea what I'm going to do when I upload more than 200 photos; my old ones will be deleted. Sorry, I can't upload any more photos from the camera since Flickr's being annoying, so I only have the one at the top of this post! :C

RICE Fever and Christie's 16th (52)

Yesterday was such a good day! Especially RICE. I love RICE, going there makes me want to hug all my friends, no jokes. :D For today, happy birthday Thai and Nikkida! I wrote everything down on my phone about RICE so I wouldn't forget, but I can't really be bothered typing too much about it so yeah. But RICE was really good, I love love love it and really want to go RICE Rally. :D

RICE Fever: Avi, Nibraas, Kenny, Lawrence, Joki, Katherine, Alex, Danica Hyunh, Amanda Ramos, Jenny, Nathan, Alvin Yappy, Kyleen and Lisa Nguyen. Oh, on the train, we saw this guy who looked so much like the old man in Up, and there was this group of mid-20's and this girl had a really pretty dress and nice legs, and when they got off, Danica was like, I like your dress, and the guy (or like boyfr or something) was like, But I'm not wearing a dress. :p When we got to Olympic Park, we went to Maccas first, cuz apparently once we got into RICE, we weren't going to be allowed out unless we were going home/not allowed to go out and then back in. We saw Margaret's brother and Linda Quan's brother, LOL, and we got a photo with them. And I saw Margaret's brother again, at Christie's. The waterworks/fountains weren't on this year! Idk why, but they were so fun last year but I guess I would've been freezing if they were on. :p

Got to RICE. Saw Justice Crew and they're good? Keke. :D Olympic Park is soo quiet and peaceful and pretty there, omgsh, full have to go there one day and like, Idk, hang around and have a picnic or something LOL. BUT IT'S SO PRETTY, SERIOUSLY. :D I still have my RICE ticket, too.

Fricken Hurricane was so bad. It's just one of the rides that are like .. You're in a plane kinda thing and you just go round and round in circles and you go higher and higher and stuff, Idk it's hard to describe and I cbb finding a photo from people's FB's but yeah, I'll upload photos sometime (but they're just other people's photos). But yeah we went on that and I was with Kenny, Jenny and Nibraas and it was soo crazy, gravity was so crazy there and I was holding the bar soo tight and my hands got like sweaty. :C LOL. And Nibraas was soo casual, he just turns around and he's like, You guys alright? LOL. TT

There was this jumping castle thing and you had to race your friend/someone else and I had to verse this random and he looked like 18 or something and yeah he beat me by a bit LOL but I hit my head like .. straight into this part of the jumping castle. Like, charged and hit my head kinda thing. And there was this girl who saw the whole thing. LOL. SO EMBARRASSING. :(

Oh and there were these signs that were like, What's wrong with the world; What percentage of abuse do you think is child abuse; and stuff like that, and you just write your own answers, and someone write, Justin Bieber under the 'What's wrong with the world' one LOL.

Everyone at RICE is like .. Friends. Cuz we started talking to this random cuz he had an iPhone 4 LOL, they're soo pretty, but it was really cool cuz they're just so nice and stuff. :D And there was this game called like The Contagious Plague and it's just you have teams and you have to protect a toy, but people from outside are chucking balls and like .. You can't see them cuz there's a cloth around it and it's kinda like dodgeball but vertical. And if your toy gets hit then you're all out. It was so fun but I was like 2nd to get out LOL. And there was this game where you had to go through this obstacle course and at some point there are people holding swimming noodles and they hit you and so Lawrence took it, and he hit Lisa while she was doing it so she took it off him and chased him with it LOL. And there was human Pacman! Looked so fun. :C

AND THERE WAS THIS GIRL IN A PIKACHU KIGURIMI SUIT THINGO AND YEAH, SO CUTE. Got a photo with her. But she's such a cutie, man, seriously. Wish I was like her. LOL.

After the talk, I bought a wristband and Lawrence took me to RICE cafe. (.. Thanks Lawrence. Cuz I didn't ask you to take me but yeah you did. I'm not annoyed that you did. Js.) The girl I talked to was so nice! And it got awkward after a while cuz we like 'finished' talking so I just talked to her about what school she went to and stuff, LOL, and she let me check train times on her iPhone and stuff, so nice. But after RICE Cafe, we went out (and yeah, you can't go back in) and we found the others and spent the rest of the time taking photos. And the photos were pretty nice, but I wish we had a better camera cuz like .. I hate it when you take photos and because the lighting's bad and everything's like white and .. Idk, but I hate it, LOL. I had to leave early though, and I said my train was coming in 5 minutes and Avi's like, You're not gonna make it but I HAD TO MAKE IT LOL so I had to get a group hug instead of individual hugs :( and I had to run all the way to the station and I ran the wrong way, a bit, LOL, but they were like, YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY. But I made the train in time, like 20 seconds before it left kinda thing. :D

Got to Cabra at 5:20pm but had to walk to Commonwealth but I told Jacquie and stuff that I'd be there at 5:20, so I had to walk/run and yeah, made it in time.

Christie's was pretty fun but I had watermelon at the end which fucked up my stomach LOL. LIZA LOOKED SO GOOD. Everyone looked good. I liked Tracey's blazer. There was this guy who was like fricken pedo or something and he pretended he was taking luvo's kinda but it was full like directed at us kinda thing. SO fucked up. Um, yeah, oh, I borrowed Danica's mum's blazer and yeah I really really like it now. WISH I HAD IT LOL. >:D Um .. Christie's cake was beautiful. :I LOL. I ALSO LOST MY USB BRACELET FROM RICE, ON THE TRAIN OR SOMETHING? I HAVE NO IDEA BUT I'M SO SAD THAT I LOST IT LOL.

And I might start going Youth Group on Friday's. :) LIZA CHAO, FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU'RE GONNA DO FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY CUZ I'M GONNA GO RICE RALLY IF YOU DON'T. :O

★ This blog is going to be in a dodgy chronological order. Cos I don't remember the exact order of when things happened ><.

1. Woke up at 8-something. Oh wow, I don't remember what time I woke up. Anyway, I showered, and then called Danica so she'd wake up. Left the house at 9:30, but my dad had to go somewhere before dropping me and my sister off at Cabra. I thought I was going to be late, so I called Lawrence, and he was in the car on the way there too, and he said Kenny would be there. So yeah, mad. Got to Cabra, bought a ticket to Homebush, even though I was meant to get one to Olympic Park ><. Lawrence convinced me to play Maplestory. So I will. Just for you, Lawrence ;). LOL. And also cos I told him I would, earlier this week at Regionals :P.

2. OMG. Danica. Fail, man, really. She called me when it was 1 minute until the train was gonna come, and she's like, Get me two tickets! And I'm like, What the eff, you for real, it's 1 minute until the train comes, wth! So I didn't get a ticket for her and Jess, cos the train came, and she was at the station when the train doors were closing, and she was just standing there on the platform, then the doors opened again, and we're like, Are you gonna get on? And she didn't, and the doors closed again --'.

3. So, we decided to wait for Danica at Granville or something, and then Merrylands, then changed minds and said Lidcombe. So we were with Lawrence's church at the time, and we got off at Lidcombe, but while the church went to the other platform to take the train to Rice, we waited for Danica. For like, Idk, 30 mins? Not sure how long, but like 8 trains passed, and Lawrence is like, If you don't come within like 5 seconds, we're leaving you, and Danica's train was coming in, and we ran to the Olympic Park platform thing, and Danica was running to chase us LOL, we're so smart, make her go faster.

4. Got to the place, the train ride's short, anyway. So we got there, right, and walked to Rice. And we were like, just walking around the place, and Lawrence and stuff wanted to go on the spinning ride thing, and we're like, Aw but the line's really long, so we walked around and decided just to go on the jumping castle, cos it's like, simple and the line was moving fast, cos it's just a jumping castle, right? And it was pretty fun, LOL ^^. And we got to the back of the jumping castle, and we just sat around for a bit, ahahah, and then we climbed the thing and slid down.

★ Okay, this is where I'm unsure of what happened.

We found Jenny and Carisssaaaa! And we saw Lizzie, Brendan and Charles, and there was this band, New Empire, and Danica's like, the vocalist is hot, and I rkn his hair was nice, and I couldn't really see. He actually wasn't that bad, though. OMG, RICE, ALL THESE ASIANS WITH HOT HAIR LOL :D :D.

And then we like walked around for a bit, and then we sat down on the lawn and this guy was interviewing New Empire, and they were like, all young and stuff, so they were cool :D. And then they were talking to this guy, about what was the craziest thing he'd done as a teenager, and this guy was like, jumping off a cliff for fun and everything, srsly, I don't get how he's alive LOL, but that's like the point. Cuz he like thanked God that he was alive. And anyway, that guy was pretty epic. And then one of the girls with like the mic who was .. idk, running Rice, was like right next to me and Danica, and we were near that thing where like, someone's sitting on the edge of a seat thing, and people are chucking the ball at a target/point, and if they hit the point, then the person sitting on the edge gets like submerged into water. Man I sound really noob @ explaining LOL. Anyway, so the girl was like, We'll get 4 volunteers in the crowd, and they can chuck the ball and get the guy in the water, and she chose Aldrich LOL, but he missed, and then this like little kid chucked it and he got it LOL so yeah, pwnage, boii :P. And New Empire performed a song, and there was like the dodgiest mosh pit there, and we were at the front right next to the speakers, and one guy kiinda but not rly crowd surfed. We are the best, for sure LOL.

And there was this really really big beachball, and it was like a globe, printed on it. So it was like a really big globe beach ball. And like throughout the day, that was just being chucked around, and we've got photos with it, ahahaha.

I'm not sure when we decided to, but we decided to get some food at a Maccas which was nearby, cos food at Rice was probably expensive. So we were walking to Maccas, and it was getting really hot I rkn, and there was this fountain, so we all ran around in that and all got soaked and shit, was sooo mad ^^. And we were all wet, and walked to Maccas, and so we got there, all of us with wet hair and clothes and shoes, and like half of us got nugget meals LOL, we're so cute :L. And we took all these photos and after we ate, we went to these water fountain-ish things, and we ran around in that. The jets of water were so mad, ahhaha, and we took photos and it looked like we were peeing LOL. Mann, we really need to get these photos uploaded. Yeah, and we took these other photos, where there were all these like pole things, and we were sitting around and it was really fun ^^. Oh, and Lawrence is mad, Danica tried making him piggyback her, and he's like, No, only Genevieve's allowed HAHAHAH PWNEEDD, so yeah, later on, me and Lawrence VS Danica and Thai in a piggyback race, but they beat us, cos they had a full shorter route. Think Aldrich might have a photo, or something, hahaha.

But yeah, we went back to Rice at around 2, cos we shouldn't spend more time outside Rice when the day was meant to be about going to Rice. We went back, and they were having another talk thing. So we went back, and listened to that. I reckon the talks and stuff are pretty interesting, but I don't really get some of it. Like, it's confusing. Kinda. Idk. ><. And then after that, we walked around, and lined up for the spinning ride thing. I was gonna go on it, but I was looking at the thing for a while and I'm like shiz I feel sick ><, so I didn't go on LOL. But while they were lining up, me and Danica went around, looking for the hottest guy there AHAHHA, and I couldn't really see properly, though, but there was this guy who dressed nice. And really, so many people had nice hair :O. Jenny and stuff said that spinning ride was really fun, and she didn't feel sick or nething, ahaha.

So after that, I'm not entirely sure what we did. We walked around for a bit, trying to figure out what to do, maybe, and then we went to the toilet. Oh, and I realised Lawrence went toilet like 4 times today LOL. Errm, anyway, me and Carissa were waiting for Danica in the bathroom, and when we came out, Lawrence and stuff had already gone on this big slide. We were gonna go to the jumping castle again, I think, and we just walked around, and decided instead of going to the jumping castle, we should go to this other thing, it was like a massive Pac-Man thing or something? Lols, I'm not sure. But then they were like, It's 3:50, and this place is gonna be closed, so can everyone make their way out, so we're like, Oh daayum, boi, so we went out. It was 3:50, omgsh, went sooo quick ><. After that, we went to the Band Merch store, and Lawrence, Kenny and Aldrich all got a New Empire poster, and they were getting it signed and everything, and me, Danica and Jenny got a hug from one of the guys from the band. Not the really hot guy, though. LOL. And we got like a group photo. They're so mad, cos they're all young and everything and are so like energetic and happy? Idk, lolol.

But after that, Lawrence's church was going, and he had to go home with his church, so we said bye to Lawrenceeee. And then we went to get Gloria Jeans, ahahha, and we stayed there for a while, cos they took ages ><. And then Aldrich had to go, he was going to St Mary's or something. I'm not even sure where that is, but yeah. Anyway, we finally got all our Gloria Jeans drinks, then went back to the station. Caught the train to Lidcombe, but for a while, we were all like, Omgsh! Is this the right train? Whaat! And ahaha, yes we were on the right train :L. Oh, saw Phil Enego. Wow, what a badass surname, LOL. Yeah, got off at Lidcombe, our train to Campelltown was coming in like 24 minutes ><. So we went down to platform 4, and saw Aldrich there LOL. And Lizzie was there too, with her friend. And I've totally forgotten his name, but I've seen him in her blogs. LOL. Yeah, and we hung around for a bit, and then Aldrich went on his train, and our train was in 13 minutes. So we sat at the station, and we kinda made friends LOL with this police officer AHAHAA. So it was me, Danica, Jenny, Carissa, Thai and Kenny. Got on the train, finally, and Thai and Kenny sat in a two seater, and everyone else sat in a 3 seater. And we took photos the whole ride home LOL. And Lawrence called me for some time, so I was on the phone, ahaha. Feel so like, good, cos I used my phone so much today LOL. Like that's probably not a good thing at all, I'm gonna have to pay for all this stuff, but calls and text, omgsh, love it LOL. Lawrence and his church were stuck at Fairfield, cos something was going on at Warwick Farm. And they were gonna have to walk back to Cabra, but when our train arrived at Fairfield, I'm like, Um, they haven't said anything about us having to go off, and Lawrence could've taken our train, but he couldn't just ditch his church, right, so he didn't.

Oh, at Merrylands, Thai was like waving to us. And then he tried catching up with the train as it was moving, hahaha, didn't rly work. Got off at Cabra, and then Kenny went home. So it was me and Danica, and then Danica was calling her cousins and stuff, and she was really annoyed, cos someone was being really PMS-y. So I hung around with her at Cabra, cos I didn't want to just leave her by herself, right, cos that's kinda slack, it was dark and everything. Lol, Lawrence was like, Well, you should get home soon, cos it's getting cold and dark. Lols, he's so nice, hahaha :P. Anyway, my parents were picking me up, and I called my mum and I was like, Oh, I'm staying around with Danica for a bit, cos I don't want to leave her just by herself while she waits for her cousin to pick her up, and we told him to pick her up on Park Road. But she wants to get food, so if I'm not there, then we're just in Woolies. POINT IS, my mum said I could hang around with Danica for a bit :L. Anyway, so she was just like ranting and stuff, and I was like, being mad, and being a good listener (A) LOL. Then we crossed the road, and were sitting on the brick fence-ish thing at my grandpa's apartment. And it was all dark and everything, haha. But yeah, I was on the phone with Lawrence for a bit, again, lol, and then my parents came, and then Danica's cousin came, so things were good, and I hung around in my grandpa's apartment until like, 8:15. And I was texting Lawrence and Nicholas, wooo, yeah boi, aren't I so popular LOLOL.

Woooo, I still have my Rice wristband on. I don't wanna take it off, LOL. But when I do, I'll like make it .. idk, neat, and I'll keep it in my wallet LOLLL.

AWW, I REALLY REALLY WANT TO GO TO RICE RALLY, NEXT WEEK!
